Game Overview

Alien Hominid is a side-scrolling shooter in which you play as a cute but extremely dangerous yellow alien. After the spaceship is shot down by the Earth government, you are forced to confront a series of secret agents from the FBI, KGB to the underground forces at Area 51 to reclaim the vehicle to return to the mother planet.

Run-and-gun gameplay

One of the most prominent features of Alien Hominid is the one-hit-death mechanism. There is no health bar, no recovery, every small mistake can make you have to start over. This makes every step, jump or dodge require careful calculation, quick reflexes and precise memorization of the enemy's attack pattern.

Various Weapons and Combat Skills

Energy Blaster: Your main weapon is a powerful blaster, which allows you to shoot continuously to destroy waves of enemies.
Grenade: You have a limited number of grenades, which you can throw to cause area damage - very useful when surrounded or facing a boss.

Power-ups

Along the way, you will collect power-ups that help you:

Change the type of bullet (fire bullet, ice bullet, laser ...)
Increase the speed of fire
Activate temporary shields

Choosing when to use power-ups plays a strategic role in overcoming harsh challenges.

Movement and special attack skills

Alien Hominid is not just about shooting, but also has unique skills that help you be more flexible in combat: such as rolling, jumping and biting heads, digging and riding vehicles. Each skill will help you defeat enemies in a different way.

Game Controls

Use the arrow keys to move the character.
Press S to jump, press down + Jump while in the air to grab onto an enemy's head.
Press Jump again while grabbing onto an enemy's head to bite off their head.
Use A to shoot.
